I'm from Long Island, but haven't visited the city in a while. I'll be excited to see it around Christmastime (my usual city visiting time). I like the idea of a pedestrian mall and a piazza, too. It's great to have a place to relax and observe city sights, but it's also nice to walk without fear of cars. (But sometimes bicycles are just as dangerous!) Bryant Park is so much fun because it changes with every season. The Times Square summary is great! I'm from Long Island, but haven't visited the city in a while.
