Great post, Andre. Thanks for the link to the community roundtable site, too. She's right, I think, that the things that work well for large-scale social media campaigns can absolutely kill smaller communities.
I especially like your closing point here: Where the conversation takes place doesn't matter. Now, we've just got to find a way to attach value to the conversation, as an end rather than a means to an end.
